Katie Cook, editor, From Zimbabwe to Santa feKatie Cook received her Bachelors degree in film studies from the University of Vermont. She continued her film studies at the College of Santa Fe's Documentary Studies Intensive before being selected as one of the first four students to initiate the Santa Fe Community College's Advanced Film Crew Intensive. In the fall of 2009 she completed a short documentary film in collaboration with the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and Humane Society, SpAN New Mexico, which she co-produced, directed, filmed and edited.

In 2010, Katie finished the short documentary, Mall Walkers, which premiered at the New Mexico Film Museum and then screened at the 2010 Duke City Doc Fest in Albuquerque, NM. In addition to her own films, Katie has continued to work on other productions including short pieces for non-profits as well as work on several other documentaries including cinematographer for "A Land Divided", a feature documentary on immigration issues filmed along the Mexico and US border.
